Application of Big Data in Healthcare Workshop

This workshop introduced students to the development trends and practical applications of healthcare big data through theoretical instruction and real-world case studies. Starting from the sources and characteristics of medical data, the course explored how data collection, integration, and analysis contribute to the advancement of modern healthcare.

Through examples such as disease prediction models, clinical decision support systems, smart hospitals, and precision medicine, students learned how big data technologies can be applied in disease management, clinical care, and health management. The workshop also introduced applications in healthcare resource allocation, public health monitoring, and policy development, helping students understand how data analysis can improve healthcare quality and decision-making efficiency.

In addition, the course covered topics related to personal data protection, information security, and data ethics, enhancing students’ awareness of responsible data use.
