全人教育中心於本學期高教深耕計畫中，舉辦「English Night：Star Wars Night – Exploring the Original Trilogy」主題式英文夜活動。

活動以全球經典電影《星際大戰》（Star Wars）為主軸，帶領學生深入探索原始三部曲的文化背景、角色象徵與英文語境，

透過互動式任務、經典片段賞析與角色扮演，引發學生對英文學習的興趣與主動參與。

現場設計多項趣味關卡與情境會話練習，如扮演路克天行者進行英文任務、與黑武士辯論光明與黑暗勢力的價值觀等，

讓學生在輕鬆氛圍中自然開口說英文。同時也融入影視文化分析，協助學生認識美國1970至80年代的社會背景與電影語言特色。

透過此次結合語言學習與流行文化的創新設計，活動成功營造寓教於樂的學習環境，

不僅促進師生交流，也深化學生的國際文化素養與表達自信，廣獲參與者好評。

As part of this semester’s Higher Education Sprout Project, the Center for Holistic Education organized a themed English Night event: “English Night: Star Wars Night – Exploring the Original Trilogy.”

Centered around the global classic film series Star Wars, the event guided students to explore the cultural background, symbolic characters, and English language context of the original trilogy.

Through interactive tasks, analysis of iconic scenes, and role-playing, the activity sparked students' interest in learning English and encouraged active participation.

The event featured a variety of fun missions and situational dialogue practices—such as taking on the role of Luke Skywalker to complete English tasks or debating the values of the Light and Dark sides with Darth Vader—encouraging students to speak English naturally in a relaxed environment.

Film and cultural analysis was also incorporated to help students understand the social context of 1970s–80s America and the distinctive features of cinematic language.

By combining language learning with pop culture, the event successfully created an edutaining (educational + entertaining) atmosphere. It not only fostered communication between teachers and students but also enhanced participants’ global cultural literacy and confidence in expression, receiving highly positive feedback.
